Created in the spring of 2002, the Multicultural Education Center proposes training that fosters the sharing of work and educational experience between individuals with multicultural backgrounds.  The Center is located next to the Namur Subway station, in the heart of multicultural district of Montreal.

The training aims the integration of the job market or university studies through a global program focused on individual needs.

A Dynamic Team of Teachers and Professionals

The educators who designed and work with our programs have created a course of studies which meets the requirements of students preparing for undergraduate work. Our faculty is aware of the needs of ESL (English as a second language) students and fosters the confidence they need to achieve their goals. Our dedicated advisors provide students with individual support and counselling. They guide them through the process leading to their successful admission to university or to integrate the job market. All of the Multicultural Education Center academic and administrative staff is committed to providing students with the personalized assistance they need to make their experience at Marie-Victorin College rewarding and enriching.

Services

• Information support for Student Financial Aid (Loans and Bursary program of the Government of  Québec);           
• Student services, including personalized counselling and Information;
• An Academic Support Service Program that is adapted to the multicultural setting;
• The assessment and recognition of prior schooling (certain conditions apply).

• 12 classrooms capable of seating up to 25 students each;
• 2 computer labs with Internet access that include integrated multimedia projection capacity;
